Little Rat 1.3
Current image of Little Rat 1.3

Little Rat 1.3 is the brain-child of Scott, who was inspired enough by attending the Motorama 2003 event to want to design and build a 'bot from scratch. After bouncing a few ideas around, he eventually settled on an 'undercutter' design, and the team looked forward to completing the build phase so we can see Little Rat 1.2 in action.

One of the neat things about having a member of the team other than Tony sit down and design a 'bot is that it will help broaden the design base of the fleet, and hopefully lead to some new ideas that can be implemented on other 'bots to enhance their capabilities. We're debuted Little Rat 1.0 at the April Annihilator event at the Robot Club & Grille in April 2003, and took it back there in May for it's second competition. It also travelled to San Diego for BotBash, and North Carolina for Robot Assault 2003. We've come to realize that the design really isn't all that good, and Little Rat 1.3 has now been retired.
